BPD Awareness Week

Be the Practitioner with a Difference - 'principles of care'

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a complex and often misunderstood mental illness that attracts much stigma. The 2023 campaign aims to deepen the existing knowledge health professionals have and to demystify treatment with 6 core principles. These are drawn from the common factors of evidence-based therapies for BPD and can easily be incorporated into the practice of health professionals, expanding access to treatment and ensuring every interaction can be therapeutic.

In this exciting online event, attendees will have an opportunity to reflect on these principles of care and hear from a panel of people with lived experience of BPD including some time for Q&A.

We look forward to seeing you there!
